Hi tim. We are race week regulars. The Whitehaven beach party organised by the island no longer occurs on lay day which is the Wednesday in the middle of race week. Instead there is now a pool party around the main pool with a live band. it was great in its day but I believe it became too big to manage with many non race week people coming across from Airlie beach for the day.
