Audi RS5 dominates at Final Drive Challenge

Audi will offer up it’s blisteringly-quick RS5 sports coupe for the Audi Final Drive Challenge event at the 2011 Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, continuing the brand’s practice of presenting the latest and greatest of Audi’s sportscars for the sailing community.

To win this year’s major prize at Race Week – the new Audi A1 - all divisional winners must test their skill on Hamilton Island’s runway in the Audi Final Drive Challenge face-off. Piloting Audi’s impressive RS5 coupe, this year’s competitors must harness the 331 kilowatts of unbridled power delivered by the brand’s impressive sportscar. With its ability to sprint from 0 to 100km in just 4.6 seconds, the challenge for the sailors will be about maintaining accuracy and consistency in the RS5.

Audi’s RS models represent the dynamic spearhead of the model range and the RS5 is the latest torchbearer in a tradition of sporting greats dating back over 15 years.
