As the sun sets over the Whitsunday islands, Hamilton Island entertainment is just getting started. For the party crowd who don’t want the evening to end after dinner, there’s so much in store.

The Hamilton Island Chefs will be cooking up a storm on “Eat Street” at the Marina Village. Grab a quick dinner as you make your way around to the Marina Tavern where all the action takes place.

The band line up this year at the Marina Tavern forecourt includes Babba, Headspace, The Cru, Lisa Hunt, Under the Radar, Plastique and Captain Spalding. Also Ross Wilson and James Reyne head up our way to entertain on the Friday 21 August and Monday 25 August respectively. Ross Wilson’s career spans 40 years from Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock as a solo song writer of classic hits such as ”Eagle Rock”, “Cool World” and “A Touch of Paradise”. James Reyne was the lead singer of Aussie Crawl with hits that include “Boys light up”, ‘Reckless’ and ‘Errol”.

Bohemes bar and nightclub will be open every evening til the wee hours of the next morning with DJs.

For those that want a quieter evening drink, The Crown Lager bar is situated next to the Race Office in the Marina Village, offering nightly acoustic entertainment or The Reef View Lounge, situated in the Lobby level of the Reef View Hotel, serves a wide range of ports, cognacs and spirits.  The Reef Lounge ambiance is enhanced by live music til around 11pm.
