Audi TT Coupe Major Prize

To celebrate Audi’s 10-year partnership with Australia’s premier regatta, Audi Hamilton Island Race Week, any yacht owner or charterer entered for this year’s event will be eligible to walk away with the keys to the award-winning Audi TT Coupe prize car.

This year, every single yacht owner or charterer who has entered, and participates in the regatta, scheduled for August 15 to 22, will go into the draw. The winner will depart Hamilton Island with the use of a stylish new Audi TT Coupe for a one-year loan.

The new generation Audi TT Coupe was launched in Australia in February, and the brand believes it is the ideal ultimate prize to mark this year’s milestone event.

In the same way that Audi Hamilton Island Race Week stands tall among the world’s leading regattas, the Audi TT Coupe leads its field of compact sports cars. It has recently been recognised with an Australian Design Award, and is the winner of the “Best Coupe” award in the WhatCar.com awards for “Car of the Year 2015”. The TT was described by judges as being “… so good, we wouldn’t bet against it winning this award for years to come.”

Audi Australia’s Managing Director, Andrew Doyle, said the company was looking for a way to really mark the decade-long partnership enjoyed between the German luxury carmaker and Hamilton Island. The Audi TT’s high performance sports car qualities, combined with its incredibly iconic design, make it an ideal prize car.

“The all-new Audi TT Coupe is known for its sporty, lightweight and efficient qualities. Combine that with sleek design and innovative technology, and there is no denying the TT is the perfect match for any competitive sailor,” Andrew Doyle said. “We believe it’s a great ‘reward’ car to celebrate a decade of partnership with this spectacular event.”

Entry in the draw will be available to any registered and competing yacht in Audi Hamilton Island Race Week 2015, and there will be no need to participate in a competitive drive event. All yacht owners and charterers are eligible, no matter what division they have entered.

The winning name will be drawn at the Audi Hamilton Island Race Week 2015 Trophy Presentation Dinner on the evening of Saturday, 22 August.
